Completing your contract and insurance with us
The Rental Contract will take about 5 minutes to complete and we’ll give you a copy of all of your documents in a handy pack for you to keep safe. We will ask you for two forms of identification (driving licence or passport and a utility bill identifying your address) and one month’s rent in advance; subsequent payments can be made by Credit or Debit card or Direct Debit from your bank account. Don’t forget that we’ll refund any unused days when you move out and you won’t have to pay any VAT or deposit for rental charges. We may also ask you for a memorable PIN number known only to you which you can use to access your unit out of normal hours*.

You will need to make sure your items are insured and for that it helps us to have a simple list of them. A form for this is available from our download area and we will give you the first £2,000 worth of insurance free when you take your insurance with us.

What else will I need?
Apart from a simple list of your goods to be insured and your ID you won’t need anything else except a padlock to secure your unit with your own key. You can buy these at Pack n Lock in our reception along with any boxes and bubble wrap you might need; Padlocks start at around £5.95 each.

Moving into your unit
When you arrive with your goods for storage, simply pop into reception to sign in then reverse up to the building where we have a selection of trolleys and sack trucks to help you load and unload. There’s also a forklift available for pallets and all of our staff are trained operators; again just ask as it’s all included in your rent.
