Open Hearts, Open Borders are sorting and storing donations to be shipped to Syria at Quickstore Saltash

Autosomal Recessive Polycystic Kidney Disease (ARPKD) occurs in 1 in every 20,000 babies and affects kidney and liver function. The disease can cause all sorts of problems such as underdeveloped lungs, problematic liver blood flow and a progressive loss of kidney function; sadly QuickStore Plymouth’s Sam has 2 lovely children who are both affected.
To help raise funds and awareness, Sam will join other first-time sailors on a 26 mile round-trip race out into the perils of the English Channel in order to raise money for the Polycystic Kidney Disease Charity on June the 18th. “I’m trying to raise as much as I can to combat this awful disease, the goal is currently set at £500 but we really hope to considerably beat that”.
We would love for you to help us exceed our target for this event! You can read more and donate on our JustGiving page or you can text ‘PKDC86 £1′ to 70070 to donate just £1 to our cause. Thank you in advance for your support.
